The George E. Watters Memorial Scholarship awards up to $5,000 to a student enrolled in a civil engineering program at a 4-year college or university. To be eligible, applicants must be attending or have been accepted into an appropriate college/university program at the undergraduate or graduate level and be from or attending school in New England. The New England Water Works Association (NEWWA) is a membership organization for those working or interested in the drinking water profession. Headquartered in Holliston, Mass., it brings together water utilities, consultants, manufacturers, vendors, regulators, academia, and other interested parties to network, educate, and advocate.
