Each year, the scholarship offers $5,000 to one lucky applicant who answers a few questions about the positive impact that the game has had on their life and career goals. The scholarship is offered by Gamers Helping Gamers, a nonprofit organization seeking to assist current and aspiring college students who play Magic: The Gathering.
