Offered by Smart Kids with Learning Disabilities
Attending school can be difficult, requiring students to balance their time between classes, homework, extracurricular activities, and making time for friends and family. However, having a learning disability or ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) can add an extra layer of difficulty for students. To commend the efforts of youth affected by these, the Fred J. Epstein Youth Achievement Award annually grants $1,000 to one (1) accomplished student aged 19 or younger with a learning disability or ADHD. To apply, interested students must submit a personal statement, a nominator’s statement, a high-resolution photo of themselves, and proof of their learning disability or ADHD.
