Offered by Indiana Commission for Higher Education
Are you an Indiana resident who plans to enroll in an in-state postsecondary institution? If so, the Frank O’Bannon Grant Program may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the program awards grants to multiple Indiana residents who (1) have been an Indiana resident by December 31st of the year before applying for aid and (2) enroll/plan to enroll in a post-secondary institution in Indiana. The amount of the award each recipient receives is dependent upon what type of school (e.g. private, public, proprietary) they’ll be attending, as well as their EFC (Expected Family Contribution). Eligibility for the grant is based on financial need as determined by the FAFSA, which students must complete every year for the possibility of renewal.
