Are you a Florida resident with a passion for golf? Then, be sure to take a swing at the Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) Foundation Scholarship!
Each Spring, the FSGA Foundation selects golfers from the FJT’s graduating class to be awarded a renewable four-year scholarship. To qualify, students must be Florida high school seniors who have been accepted to a college or university and have competed in a minimum of three FSGA or FJT tournaments. Applicants must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a household income below $125,000. To renew the scholarship, selected recipients must maintain a GPA of 3.0 and submit a request each year to have their scholarship extended to the next year. While the first-time application deadline falls on June 1st of every year, renewal requests are due by July 1st annually.

The Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) was formed in 1913 to promote, protect, and preserve the game of golf. The FSGA is a volunteer organization made up of 500 volunteers who serve as tournament officials and course rating experts, and who assist junior and amateur golf in their local areas. We conduct more than 550 tournament days each year, including over 40 state championships, and over 45 days of USGA qualifying events, as well as perform more course ratings each year than any other organization in the country.
In addition to meeting the below criteria, applicants must have a household income less than $125,000.
