The Florida Space Research Program, backed by the Florida Space Grant Consortium and Space Florida, aims to boost the state’s space industry by promoting academic participation in space research, engineering, education, and training programs. Grants are available for faculty researchers from FSGC-affiliated universities and colleges. Proposals that involve partnerships with FSGC affiliates will receive preference, but non-affiliated Florida universities, colleges, community colleges, and industry are also welcome to apply.
About NASA Florida Space Grant Consortium
The NASA Florida Space Grant Consortium (FSGC) is a voluntary association of 18 public and private Florida universities and colleges, all Florida community colleges, and the Astronaut Memorial Foundation, Florida Space Authority, Higher Education Consortium for Science and Mathematics, and the Kennedy Space Center. FSGC supports the expansion and diversification of Florida's space industry, through providing grants, scholarships, and fellowships to students and educators from Florida's public and private institutes of higher education.
