Are you a graduate of a Nebraska high school currently enrolled in your junior/senior year of an undergraduate program, or any year of a graduate degree program, in education at an in-state university? If so, consider applying for the Florence Turner Karlin Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $2,000 each to six (6) aspiring educators from Nebraska. To be considered, applicants must also hold a minimum 3.00 GPA and submit the email addresses of two potential references. Recipients may renew this scholarship for a period of up to 2 years total, provided they maintain a 3.0 GPA. This scholarship was named in honor of Florence Turner Karlin, an educator with a 42-year-long career who helped over a thousand children learn to read.
