The FCCLA Texas Farm Bureau Scholarship awards one scholarship to a member who has been a Region or State FCCLA Officer in addition to meeting the scholarship eligibility requirements. This scholarship is awarded at the beginning of the recipient’s college career. To be eligible a student must be a recent graduate of a Texas high school, have an overall high school grade average of at least 85, be a Texas Region or State Officer, and major in any area of family and consumer sciences. Applicants must include test scores of American College Testing (ACT) and/or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT); two letters of recommendation; and two copies of an autobiography in their application. To be awarded the Texas Farm Bureau scholarship, the winner of the must attend the annual Texas FCCLA State Leadership Conference. In the event the winner does not attend, the scholarship will be awarded to an alternate winner.
