The FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) Regional Scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding FCCLA members in Texas. Applicants must be recent graduates of Texas high schools, meet the entrance requirements of Texas colleges and universities which offer a degree in family and consumer sciences, and major in any area of family and consumer sciences. Applicants must also complete the universal application and submit two letters of recommendation. To be awarded the FCCLA Regional Scholarship, the winner must attend the annual Texas FCCLA State Leadership Conference. In the event the winner does not attend, the scholarship will be awarded to an alternate winner.
FCCLA is the only career and technical in-school student organization with the family as the central focus. Participation in state and national programs and chapter activities help members become strong leaders in family, careers and communities.
