Are you a nursing student with a disability? If so, consider applying for the ExceptionalNurse.com Scholarship! The scholarship is open to students with a documented disability who are enrolled full-time in a nursing program.
ExceptionalNurse.com, a nonprofit organization that focuses on the inclusion of people with disabilities in the nursing profession, offers the scholarship. The organization was created in 2001 by Donna Maheady, a pediatric nurse practitioner and nursing educator. In addition to supporting the inclusion of disabled students, ExceptionalNurse.com aims to offer support for nurses who are or have become disabled. Thus, every year, they award $250 to help one aspiring nurse with a disability afford his or her educational pursuits. If you are a nursing student with a documented disability and are looking for some help with education costs, we encourage you to apply!
The scholarship is open to full-time students enrolled or planning to enroll in a postsecondary nursing program who have a documented disability. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.
