Offered by American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers
Are you an ASABE (American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers) member enrolled in a post-secondary program? If so, consider applying for the Ethics Video Challenge! Each year, the Challenge awards $500, $300, and $200, respectively, to the top three applicants who are ASABE IPC (preprofessional/student) and YPC (young professional) members, aged 18 and older. Bear in mind that all ASABE undergraduates are IPC members, while those aged 34 and under, including graduate students, are YPC members. To apply, interested students must create a video (<5 minutes long) describing an ethical issue(s) faced by agricultural and biological engineers in practice or research. Videos may be created by individuals or teams. At the end of the video, relevant source material used in the development of the case should be cited and sources for discussion may be suggested.
