Offered by American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers
The Ethics Video Challenge offered by the ASABE P-128 Engineering Ethics Competition Committee invites ASABE preprofessionals and young professionals to participate. In a video of five minutes or less, applicants must describe an ethical issue(s) faced by agricultural and biological engineers in practice or research. Videos may be created by individuals or teams. At the end of the video, relevant source material used in the development of the case should be cited and sources for discussion may be suggested. This is open to ASABE IPC (preprofessional/student) and YPC (young professional) members, aged 18 and older. All ASABE undergraduates are IPC members; others age 34 and under, including graduate students, are YPC members. Entries must be submitted by an ASABE member in good standing. Entries must be the entrants’ original, previously unpublished work. Please visit the award’s website for more information about the entry requirements.
