Are you an incoming Carnegie Mellon student who has demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity and inclusion in the entertainment industry? If so, the Equity & Inclusion in Entertainment Fellowship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the Fellowships award a full tuition scholarship to up to three incoming Carnegie Mellon students. Preference will be given to (i) students who have been admitted to the MEIM (Master of Entertainment Industry Management) program, (ii) students who have demonstrated interest and commitment to the promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion in entertainment-related organizations or industries, (iii) students with a major/ minor in gender studies/ theory, (iv) graduates of HBCU’s and HSI’s, (v) students who are first in their family to attend graduate school, and/or (vi) students for whom English is their second language. To be considered for the fellowship, students must simply apply to the university and mention their interest in the award within the essay or optional essay in the application for admission.
