The ENF Emergency Educational Grants annually award up to $5,000 to the children of deceased or disabled Elks members who are enrolled full-time in a U.S. university. If deceased, such Elk parents or stepparents must have been ENF members in good standing for at least one year at the time of his or her death. Disabled Elk parents/stepparents, on the other hand, must have been a member in good standing for at least one year before he or she became totally disabled and must continue to be an Elk in good standing when the application for assistance is made.
