Each year, the scholarship awards up to $1,000 to the applicant who submits the best ~500-word essay answering either (1) “How homeschooling has prepared [them] for the future” or (2) “What advantages you have experienced through your homeschool education.” If this sounds like a good opportunity for you, we encourage you to apply! The Washington Homeschool Organization (WHO) is a non-profit membership association dedicated to supporting home-based instruction and the homeschool community within Washington state.
