Do you believe in the importance of safe driving? If so, consider applying for the Driver Education Initiative Award! The scholarship is open to current college students and college-bound high school students. Funded by the National Driving and Traffic School, the scholarship looks to promote safe driving with its “In The Driver’s Seat” essay contest. The scholarship is hosted by DmvEdu.org, a website offering state and court-approved online courses for driver’s education and traffic school. The scholarship is triannual, with three scholarship cycles each year. The cycles typically run from January to March, May to August, and September to November, of each year. For each cycle, two recipients receive $500 to help them pay for their education costs. If you believe you can write the best essay on why safe driving is important, we encourage you to apply!
