The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)

  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***

Scholarship Overview

Are you a college-bound high school senior who has attended Elgin Public High School or Elgin Pope John XXIII Central Catholic High School in Elgin, Nebraska for all four years of high school? If so, consider applying for the Dick & Chris Draper Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $2,500 each to one graduating senior from Elgin Public High School and one senior from Elgin Pope John XXIII Central Catholic High School. To be considered, applicants must also hold a minimum 3.25 GPA and submit the email addresses for three potential references. The scholarship was established by the Draper family, who “were firm believers that the way to success is through education.” If you wish to honor the Drapers’ legacy and generosity and continue your education beyond high school, we encourage you to apply!
