Are you an incoming Carnegie Mellon student program that exemplifies a strong commitment to the improvement of race-related issues in the United States? If so, the Dean’s Diversity Fellowships may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the Fellowships award a full tuition scholarship to up to five incoming Carnegie Mellon students. Applicants are also eligible to earn an additional $5,000-$6,000 per academic year by applying for a research assistantship or other part-time work opportunities. Preference for the fellowship will be given to (i) students who have been admitted to the MSPPM program, (ii) students who have demonstrated commitment to working on race-related issues based on affiliation with relevant organizations or work in a relevant field, (iii) students with a major/ minor in gender studies/ theory, (iv) graduates of HBCU’s and HSI’s, (v) students who are first in their family to attend graduate school, and/or (vi) students for whom English is their second language.
