    Scholarship Overview

    The DCBF Annual Collegiate Scholarship Competition annually awards $1,000 to three (3) high school seniors between the ages of 16 and 18. To be considered for the competition, interested students must be planning to enroll full-time in an accredited university for the upcoming academic year, and submit a completed application, a copy of their birth certificate, an official transcript, a copy of their ACT/SAT scores, 2 recommendation letters, a resume, and a copy of their college acceptance letter.

    About Darin C. Banks Foundation

    The Darin C. Banks Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was formed in honor of Darin Catrell Banks, a wonderful husband, seasoned procurement professional, mentor and philanthropist. Darin passed away in 2009. During Darin's life, he worked tirelessly to achieve his educational and professional goals and to help others achieve theirs. DCBF offers students practical and sound advice on financial literacy, interviewing skills, resume preparation, college success tips, successful career management and entrepreneurship.
