Are you a student attending an occupational therapy school? If so, you might be interested in applying for the DAR Occupational/Physical Therapy Scholarship! The scholarship is open to students accepted to or currently enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy school. Those enrolled in art, music, and physical therapy programs are also eligible.
A non-profit organization called the Daughters of the American Revolution offers this in addition to many medical, history-related, and other types of scholarships. The organization is known for its lineage-based membership and history and is dedicated to the “historical preservation, promotion of education, and encouragement of patriotic endeavor.” Every year, two recipients are chosen to earn a $2,000 scholarship to help cover educational costs. The scholarship is open to students with financial need who have been accepted to or are attending an accredited school of occupational therapy (including art, music, or physical therapy). Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.
