Are you a college student currently enrolled in an aviation program which involves flight training? If so, you may be eligible for the Dan L. Meisinger, Sr. Memorial Learn to Fly Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $2,500 to eligible students to be used for the express purpose of initial or primary flight training. To be eligible, applicants must have received a “B” average or better. Preference will be given to students who are residents of Kansas, Missouri, or Illinois, but residency in these states is not required. NATA (National Air Transportation Association) is the leading national trade association representing the business interests of general aviation service companies on legislative and regulatory matters at the federal level, while also providing education, services, and benefits to their members to help ensure their long-term economic success. NATA’s nearly 3,700 member companies provide a broad range of aeronautical services to the aviation community, including: aircraft sales and acquisitions, fuel, aircraft ground support, passenger and crew services, aircraft parking and storage, on-demand air charter, aircraft rental, flight training, aircraft maintenance and overhaul facilities, parts sales, and business aircraft and fractional ownership fleet management.
