The Connecticut Building Congress Scholarship Fund (CBCSF) offers scholarships to graduating Connecticut high school students entering college-level programs in architecture, construction-related engineering, construction management, surveying, planning, or other courses of study leading to associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degrees in construction. The awards, which may be renewed each year based on available resources and recipients’ performance in school, will be given for academic merit, extracurricular activities, potential, and financial need. In recent years, the scholarships have ranged from $2,500 to $4,000 per year.

The Connecticut Building Congress is a networking organization representing all facets of the construction industry: architects, engineers, construction managers, subcontractors, materials suppliers, construction attorneys, etc.

In addition to the application materials below, students should also send in a copy of their Student Aid Report, FAFSA (from the Federal Student Aid Program), or Custodial Parent's Statement (from the College Board), if applicable. Applicants may also choose to send in letters of recommendation, but they are not required.
