The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)

  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements

Scholarship Overview

Are you a graduating high school senior in Colorado who has significant experience in volunteerism or community service? If so, consider applying for the Colorado Council Volunteerism/Community Service Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $1,500 to sixteen high school seniors who have been permanent residents of Colorado for the last two years of high school and who are currently attending or planning to attend one of the Colorado Council Member Institutions. As this scholarship is meant to reward students who have been heavily involved in volunteerism and/or community service, applicants should have ample volunteer experience.

The Colorado Council on High School/College Relations is a volunteer member organization of Colorado high school counselors and college admission staff who work together to help educate and assist students in achieving their higher education goals.
