Are you a college-bound Alabama high school senior who will be attending an in-state university for the upcoming school year? If so, you may be eligible for the CollegeCounts Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $4,000 and $2,000, respectively, to eligible four-year college enrollees and two-year college enrollees. Applicants must also be U.S. Citizens, have a minimum 2.75 GPA, and demonstrate financial need. If you’re an aspiring college student from Alabama, we encourage you to apply! The Alabama State Treasury is responsible for managing multiple state financial interests, including: cash management, collateral pools, state debt service, savings programs, unclaimed property, and various trust funds.
