This scholarship is open to all NSHSS high school and college members with a dedicated passion for conservation, sustainability, environmental policy, or preservation of the Earth. To apply, students must submit a 500-800 word essay about steps that individuals can take to “champion sustainability and protect the environment” and how “these actions can make a difference in combating climate change and preserving Earth’s resources for generations to come.” As the prompt changes each year, we recommend checking out NSHSS’s Claes Nobel Good Earth Sustainability Scholarship webpage before applying.

The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), since 2002, has been supporting young academics on their journey to college and beyond as they prepare to become the leaders of tomorrow.
