Hoy/ERT Scholarship is an impressive award that offers $5,000 to a U.S./Canadian citizen or permanent resident who is pursuing an MLS (Master’s of Library Science) in an ALA-accredited program. To be eligible, applicants must have completed no more than 12 semester hours towards MLS/MLIS/MIS prior to June 1 of the year awarded. The Exhibits Round Table (ERT) is unique among ALA units in that librarians and exhibitors share both the leadership positions and membership of ERT. The Round Table provides a venue for communication and cooperation between the exhibitors at library conferences and ALA for the purpose of making the exhibits an effective part of conference.
