Have you been directly affected by childhood cancer and are currently or have previously lived in Iowa? If so, consider applying for the Children’s Cancer Connection Empowering Scholarships! This scholarship is open to current and incoming college students who themselves have had or had a sibling who was diagnosed with cancer before the age of 18 and was living, treated, or diagnosed in the state of Iowa. The scholarship is funded by The Children’s Cancer Connection, a non-profit organization that serves families impacted by pediatric cancer within the state of Iowa. Each year, the scholarship awards up to $1,000 to help selected students to help pay for their college expenses. If your life was affected by cancer and you’re passionate about furthering your education, we encourage you to apply!

Eligibility information
In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a current or incoming college student who themselves have had or had a sibling who was diagnosed with cancer before the age of 18 and was living, treated, or diagnosed in the state of Iowa. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.
