Offered by American Legion Auxiliary National Headquarters
Children of Warriors National Presidents’ Scholarship candidates shall be direct descendants of veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces during eligibility dates for membership in The American Legion: April 6, 1917, to November 11, 1918; and any time after December 7, 1941. Membership in The American Legion Family is not required for this scholarship. Applicants must be in their senior year of high school.
About American Legion Auxiliary National Headquarters
The American Legion Auxiliary has been serving, educating, and giving to America's military for over a century. They do this out of a dedication to patriotism and veterans advocacy. The American Legion Auxiliary answer the call of "Service Not Self." The organization consists of the male and female spouses, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and direct and adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion. Some members are veterans themselves.
