The Charles Harrison Smith, III Scholarship annually awards $5,500 each to graduating seniors from Apex High School in Apex, North Carolina who plan to attend a competitive university majoring in Engineering, Business, or Math. To be considered, students must be nominated by teachers at Apex High School. If selected, recipients’ scholarship payments may be made annually for up to 4 years, as long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA and submits semester reports in order to continue receiving funding.
