About Center for Education Recruitment, Retention, & Advancement

The Center for Education Recruitment, Retention, & Advancement's mission is to advance the education profession in South Carolina through teacher recruitment and retention efforts. It was established by the Commission on Higher Education in December 1985 and is funded by the South Carolina General Assembly.
