Offered by California Teachers Association (CTA)
The California Teachers Association Scholarship for Dependent Children is an incredible opportunity for students to receive up to $5,000 towards their education. With a maximum of 34 recipients, this scholarship is highly competitive. The Ralph J. Flynn, Ruthie Fagerstrom, and Susan B. Anthony scholarships are awarded to the top three highest-scoring applicants. To be eligible, applicants must be dependent children of active CTA or CTA/NEA members and have a high unweighted GPA. If you have faced medical, physical, or emotional difficulties that have affected your grades, be sure to explain them in your application. Don’t forget to include two recommendation letters!
