In addition to his military career, Bryent was also a magician with kids, an animal enthusiast, and above all, a source of laughter and joy. In his short time on Earth, Bryent forged unbreakable bonds, cherished values, and countless cherished memories. In honor of his legacy, the Bryent Smothermon PTSD Awareness Scholarship has been established to provide support to military veterans, their children, and spouses who have endured the hardships of PTSD resulting from their service. This scholarship is open to all military veterans, military spouses, and children of military veterans currently pursuing their education.
To apply, share your journey with military service-related PTSD and its impact on your life, as well as your aspirations of utilizing your experiences to assist fellow veterans currently grappling with PTSD.
