Scholarship Overview

Are you a Wisconsin resident attending a school in the Clintonville, Manawa, Marion, and New London school districts? Further, are you pursuing an electrical trade education at any technical college? If so, you may be eligible for the Bob and Cheri Suttner Scholarship! Twice a year, the scholarship awards $500 to one (1) eligible applicant. While any student pursuing an electrial trade technician and from an eligible school district may apply, preference will be given to those who plan to become a power line technician through a certificate program. The scholarship was named after Bob Suttner, a line worker of 41 years, and his wife Cheri, who “held down the fort” at their home while Bob was away at work. If you wish to continue Bob and Cheri’s legacy and work in the electrical trades, particularly as a power line technician, we encourage you to apply! Keep on reading to learn more.
