Are you, or your parent/guardian, a Danish Sisterhood member in good standing for a minimum of one year? If so, you’re in luck!
The Betty Hansen National Scholarship annually awards $2,500 each to up to six (6) Danish Sisterhood members (or their children) who are full-time post-secondary students enrolled in or entering an accredited four-year college or university (graduate students included). Applicants must also have a minimum 2.5 GPA and submit 2-3 letters of recommendation, a transcript, and a completed application to be considered for the scholarship. For those who are employed, one letter of recommendation must be from your employer and include the average number of hours worked per week by the applicant. This scholarship may be used for study in Denmark upon written request, with the approval of the DSS Scholarship Chair.
