The Bernard Rotberg Memorial Grant is available to direct descendants of Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America members in good standing. If the member has passed away, they must have been in good standing at the time of their death. All members, including posthumous, must have joined before the January 1st three years prior to the year of the application deadline. The Jewish War Veterans (JWV) is the premier voice for Jewish uniformed service members and veterans in the United States. The JWV affirms that Jewish men and women serve honorably and heroically in the military forces of the United States of America during peacetime and war.
This scholarship is open to students meeting the below eligibility criteria.
High School Senior
Jewish
Veteran, Relative of Current or Former Military Member
Applicants must be direct descendants (child, grandchild, great-grandchild) of a member in good standing since 2021 of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America. If an applicant’s relative is deceased, the member must have been in good standing at the time of his/her death.
