Scholarship Overview

Are you a woman pursuing a degree in accounting? If so, consider applying for the AWSCPA Scholarship Award! The AWSCPA Scholarship Award is open to women pursuing CPA licensure as well as an undergraduate or graduate-level degree in accounting or a related field. Applicants must also be AICPA members and have completed at least 30 semester hours, or the equivalent, of college coursework by the end of this semester.

The AICPA Foundation, the AICPA’s Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee, and its newly created AWSCPA task force are sponsoring this new AWSCPA Scholarship Award to support the success of women in the accounting profession. Each year, the scholarship awards $5,000 to help eight (8) outstanding women pursue an accounting degree and CPA licensure. If you’re a woman passionate about pursuing a degree in accounting and are looking for some help to pay off your studies, we encourage you to apply!

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a woman enrolled full-time in a postsecondary institution to pursue an accounting degree and CPA licensure. Applicants must also be AICPA members and meet the below eligibility requirements.
