The Associated Oregon Loggers Scholarship is open to AOL Members’ families, high school seniors, current college students, or those referred by an AOL Member company who intend to attend a trade school, community college, or four-year university. To be eligible, applicants must be studying forest engineering, heavy equipment operation, CDL, Diesel mechanics, welding, or another forest or timber-industry-related area of study at a recognized training provider. While the amount awarded will vary depending on recipients’ circumstances, applicants may earn up to $6,000 (over the course of a four-year degree). Funds may be applied to applicable tuition, fees, books, and supplies.
