The Art Kleppen Family – CK Worldwide Scholarship is to be awarded to provide financial assistance to two students pursuing an associate’s degree in welding. Eligible applicants must be at least 18 years old and be enrolled, or plan to enroll, in a welding program that offers an advanced course on TIG Welding. To apply, interested students should provide two references from either an instructor and/or an employer, as well as a background letter detailing their passion for becoming an accomplished welder. If you’re an associate’s degree student with a passion for welding, we encourage you to apply!
The American Welding Society (AWS) was founded in 1919, as a nonprofit organization with a global mission: Advancing the science, technology, and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes, including brazing, soldering and thermal spraying.
