If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you: the Apprentice Ecologist Initiative! Each year, the initiative asks students to conduct their own environmental stewardship project, take a few photos of their project, write an essay about it, and submit their favorite project photo as well as their essay. After doing so, you will officially be an Apprentice Ecologist and your work will be published on the Global Registry of Apprentice Ecologists! Further, the authors of the top three essays will be awarded $1,750 and receive a personalized crystal award.
