Scholarship Review Process

The Scholarships360 Research Team reviews all scholarships individually and strives to exclude any scholarship where any of the below applies:

  • The scholarship requires a fee to apply
  • The scholarship provider’s privacy policy allows for the misuse of student data
  • The scholarship requires paid membership in an organization (with certain exceptions for reputable trade organizations and others)
  • Student are required to sign up for a site or service to apply*
  • The scholarship seems primarily used for lead generation** or idea harvesting purposes***
  • The scholarship website has many grammatical errors and/or advertisements
  • The scholarship or scholarship providing organization seem untrustworthy
  • There is no evidence the scholarship was previously awarded
  • The scholarship has not been awarded in the past 12 months
  • There is no available contact information

* There are certain exceptions to this, for example if the sponsoring organization is a major corporation or nonprofit with its own scholarship application system.

Scholarship Overview

Are you a pharmacy school student and an active member of APhA-ASP for students located in the US and Puerto Rico? If so, you may be eligible for some of the many APhA Foundation Student scholarships. There are a variety of scholarships available, offering between $500 and $1,500 to winning applicants. The scholarship is offered by the American Pharmacists Association, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to conducting philanthropy, research, and innovation to improve patient care and health outcomes. To find out more about each scholarship’s specific requirements, we recommend checking out their individual profiles on the APhA Foundation website. If you do fit the criteria for any of the scholarships, we encourage you to apply!

Eligibility information

This scholarship is open to pharmacy school students who have completed at least one year of courses. Applicants from the United States and Puerto Rico must also be active APhA-ASP members. Bear in mind that each individual scholarship has unique eligibility requirements. Below are just some of the general eligibility requirements for the APhA Foundation Student Scholarships.
