Are you a psychology graduate student enrolled in an interim master’s program or doctoral program? If so, consider applying for the APF Graduate Student scholarships! This scholarship program aims to assist graduate students of psychology with research costs associated with their master’s thesis or doctoral dissertations. However, bear in mind that if you are currently enrolled in a terminal master’s program, you must intend to enroll in a PhD program in order to be eligible. The scholarship is funded by the American Psychological Foundation, a grant-making foundation that funds early career psychologists and graduate students using psychology to solve important problems and improve people’s lives. An award worth between $2,000 and $5,000 will be awarded to twenty-one (21) graduate students annually! If you’re passionate about improving others’ lives through psychology, we encourage you to apply!
This scholarship is open to psychology graduate students enrolled in an interim master's program or doctoral program. If a student is currently enrolled in a terminal master's program, the student must intend to enroll in a PhD program. However, students at any stage of graduate study are encouraged to apply. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements and be nominated by their graduate research advisor.
