The Antenore C. “Butch” Davanzo Scholarship was developed to help college-bound students from Michigan, who are interested in pursuing a career in treatment or some other aspect of the water environment field, fund their 1st year of post-high school education. Applicants must also be planning to attend a Michigan-based College or University. In addition to receiving a $2,500 scholarship to help fund their first year of post-high school education, winners will receive a one-year complimentary membership to MWEA.

The MWEA brings together a diverse group of individuals whose careers involve the water environment and who have similar objectives from a variety of backgrounds. MWEA provides a forum for all water environment topics. Through this forum a variety of objectives, strategies, and goals have been developed that will enhance the mission of the Association, expand the services provided to members, and result in the continued growth of the Association and its members.
