Are you a college-bound high school senior or current undergraduate student who is or will be attending an institution of higher education in Idaho? Further, are/will you be majoring in or studying Fire Ecology or Auto Mechanics, or are you a current Wildland Firefighter majoring in any subject? If either applies, you may be eligible for the Anne Veseth Memorial Scholarship Fund! Each year, the scholarship awards between $1,400 and $2,800 to 1 to 2 eligible students at an Idaho university who have a passion for Fire Ecology or Auto Mechanics. To be considered, interested students must also have a minimum 2.5 GPA and submit a transcript as well as a 1-3 page written statement describing their career goals, as well as their past extra-curricular activities and work experiences. The Foundation serves all 44 Idaho counties and helps build and strengthen communities by bringing people together and using the power of collective giving. Individuals, families, businesses, and other nonprofits can establish permanent or temporary charitable funds at the Idaho Community Foundation to provide support for the causes and organizations they care about most. The Idaho Community Foundation also offers grants to nonprofits, schools, and other organizations and provides scholarships to students.
