Are you conducting graduate, welding-related research and pursuing a Masters’s or Ph.D. Degree under a sponsoring professor at a North American University? If so, the American Welding Society Research Fellowship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards $35,000 per year to graduate students conducting welding research and pursuing a degree at a North American university. To be considered for the scholarship, interested applicants must include their academic credentials, plans, and research history (if any) in their application package.

The American Welding Society (AWS) was founded in 1919, as a nonprofit organization with a global mission: Advancing the science, technology, and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes, including brazing, soldering and thermal spraying.
