Are you a high school senior whose guardian or grandparent is a current or a former member of the American Postal Workers Union (APWU)? Better yet, are you looking to attend an undergraduate institution and need some help paying off those expenses? If so, you might want to consider applying for the American Postal Workers Union (APWU) Vocational Scholarship! Each year, recipients are awarded up to $3,000 for specialized training in a variety of fields including culinary arts, medical or dental assistance, electronics, real estate, automotive, IT/computer education, cosmetology, massage therapy, and more. Eligible programs can be of a nine-month to three-year duration. If you fit the criteria, can write a great essay, and believe in the importance of unions, we encourage you to apply!
In order to be eligible for this scholarship you must be a child, grandchild, stepchild, or legally adopted child of a current, retired, or deceased APWU member, in addition to meeting the other eligibility requirements below.
