The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Texas Past Presidents’ Parley Medical Scholarship is seeking bright minds who plan to attend a Texas Education Institution and study medicine. Applicants must be residents of Texas, the child or grandchild of a Veteran who served in the Armed Forces during eligibility dates for membership in the American Legion, and be pursuing a career in the medical field. To apply, candidates must submit a letter outlining their qualifications and intentions. Don’t forget, the application must be signed off by an American Legion Auxiliary Unit. Join the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Texas in supporting the future of medicine!
The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Texas has achieved its own unique identity while working side-by-side with the veterans who belong to The American Legion. Like the Legion, the Auxiliary's interests have broadened to encompass the entire community. Through its units located throughout Texas, the Auxiliary embodies the spirit of America that has prevailed through war and peace.
