Scholarship Overview

The Ruby Paul Campaign Fund Scholarship will be awarded to a daughter, son, granddaughter, grandson, great-granddaughter, or great-grandson of an American Legion member. Descendants of both American Legion Auxiliary members who have held Nebraska membership for two years or Sons of the American Legion members who have held Nebraska membership for two years are also eligible to apply. All applicants MUST be enrolled in an accredited college or university for the current year and have been a Nebraska resident for the previous three (3) years. If you fit these criteria, don’t miss out on this chance to earn funding for your education and carry on your family’s legacy.

The American Legion Department of Nebraska is a war-time veterans community-service organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families. The Department thus provides aid to veterans and sponsors youth programs to maintain an ongoing concern, support and commitment to the veteran community. In addition, the American Legion is strongly committed to maintaining a strong national defense.
