The Also-Known-As Adoptee Excellence Scholarship is offered by Also-Known-As, Inc., an organization that is focused on building a community that empowers the voices of adult international adoptees, while providing the resources and space to acknowledge the loss of birth country, culture, language, and biological family through adoption. Each year, their Also-Known-As Adoptee Excellence Scholarship awards $1,000 to one international adoptee (under 26 years of age) who will be enrolled full-time in college for the upcoming school year.
