Are you a college-bound high school senior residing in Clark County, Nevada? If so, you may be eligible for the Aloha Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $750 each to two students pursuing a 4-year degree, and $500 each to two students pursuing a trade/vocational degree. Applicants must also have a minimum 2.5 GPA and attend a charter, private, or CCSD high school. Applicants will be judged on prior academic performance, recommendations, an essay on reasons for applying for the scholarship, and participation in community and school activities. The 9th Island Cultural Club of Las Vegas, established in 2014, was founded on the philosophy of its organization being a pillar of perpetuating diversity in the communities its members live in and serve. Their Members, Executive Board, Directors and Supporters remain intimately committed and involved by donating their time to serve in various capacities.
