The Alice L. Haltom Educational Fund presents a scholarship opportunity to students who are citizens of the U.S. or Canada and are actively pursuing a career in information and records management. The scholarship amount is $2,000 for those enrolled in a four-year program or Graduate School, and $1,000 for those in a two-year program. The Alice L. Haltom Educational Fund exists for the purpose of furthering education in the field of records and information management. It was created in honor of Alice L. Haltom, who was employed for 37 years in corporate records management for Tenneco, Inc. of Houston, Texas and was Manager of the Records Department for many years prior to her retirement.
