The Alberta Award for the Study of Canadian Human Rights and Multiculturalism aims to encourage graduate studies that will create value for Albertans by promoting informed thinking about Canadian human rights, cultural diversity, and multiculturalism. It also aims to support the pursuit of studies in Canadian human rights, cultural diversity, and multiculturalism, and build the capacity to undertake human rights or multicultural work in Canada. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a program of study that supports the purpose of the scholarship and be planning to do research that is within a Canadian context and will ultimately benefit Albertans. Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae along with the application and other requirements.
The Heritage Fund is Alberta's main long-term savings fund. The Fund was established in 1976 to collect a portion of Alberta's non-renewable resource revenue for future generations.
